LIFE OF TRI was born out of a love for triathlon, which I discovered in 2011 when watching the first Ironman Wales in Tenby. Since that day I had a burning desire to see how hard training for 3 disciplines could be. 2013 saw me finally take the leap and sign up for my first triathlon. I thought I would start off small and sign up for Ironman Wales…………………..
Over the next 12 months I clipped into a road bike for the first time, totally re-learnt how to swim, and went thought more running trainers than I had in the previous five years. In September 2014 I completed my first iron distance triathlon and am still ‘hooked’ to this date. Each year I compete in various triathlons from sprint distance to half ironman/full ironman races.
